Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is the most popular part of Comino, and arguable one of the most popular spots in the Maltese Islands. It offers some of the clearest waters in the country giving it its characteristic hues of blue. Its local name is Bejn il-Kmiemen and is literally translated to “between the Cominos” referring to the fact that it is surrounded by Comino and Cominotto.

A scene from the popular 2004 Troy film was shot in the Blue Lagoon, being depicted as the original home of Achilles, played by Brad Pitt.
