Munxar Point

Munxar Point, or “il-Ponta tal-Munxar” is the headland between Saint Thomas Bay (in Marsaskala) and Xrobb l-Għaġin (in Marsaxlokk). It features steep white cliffs on both sides along which a winding footpath allows for scenic views. Small inlets are also popular with swimmers, snorkelers and kayakers, partly also due to the Munxar Window rock formation. The Riħama Battery is situated on the St Thomas Bay side of the headland, overlooking the bay.
